Where Tradition Meets Modernity – a reimagined farmhouse

This new-build farmhouse pays homage to its historic roots, incorporating original timber posts and beams from the previous structure. The result is a thoughtful blend of character and innovation, where the charm of the past supports a bold new form.

The architecture embraces contemporary living with a dramatic cantilevered living space that floats above the swimming pool—an elegant contrast to the rustic materials used throughout.

Inside, expansive glazing blurs the line between interior and landscape, immersing the living spaces in natural light and uninterrupted mountain views.

Original timber beams from the existing structure have been thoughtfully preserved and integrated, adding texture, character, and a sense of continuity to the space. Complemented by a palette of warm, natural materials and the gentle glow of a contemporary central fireplace, creating a cosy yet refined heart to the home.
